The Nutella roll is a true classic, easy to prepare, fast and above all appreciated by everyone, young and old. The Nutella roll is ideal both to prepare for a nice snack and for a rich breakfast. This is the recipe of my aunt anna, it is prepared in 5 minutes and disappears as soon as it is brought to the table;) I have tried several recipes for biscuit dough, but this is one of my favorites, if you want you can replace Nutella with a chocolate cream, or jam, but in my opinion Nutella in this dessert is definitely the most appropriate thing;)
How to make the nutella roll
In a large bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar until they double in volume.
Slowly add the flour with the baking powder, continuing to whip.
Add the milk slowly, continuing to whisk until you get a smooth batter.
Spread the parchment paper on a baking sheet and pour the mixture into it. Level up to cover the entire surface of the pan (mine is 36 × 27 cm).
Bake in a preheated oven at 220 ° C and cook for 7-8 minutes.
On a plane, arrange a sheet of wax paper and turn the cookie dough over.
Gently peel off the paper used for cooking and, still hot, spread a layer of Nutella.
Cover the whole surface with Nutella.
Using the parchment paper, roll the Nutella roll.
Wrap the roll with parchment paper and place it in the fridge to harden for 1 hour.
Serve on a serving plate, sprinkling with icing sugar.
Cut into slices not too thin and enjoy the Nutella Roll!
