Recipe Biscuits with agave syrup from of 08-04-2016 [Updated on 20-09-2017]
Agave syrup cookies are without butter, no eggs, no sugar ... practically nothing;) And despite this, they are still tasty, perfect for a healthy and gluttonous and guilt-free snack! It is the first time that I have used agave syrup by completely replacing it with the sugar dose in a recipe and I must say that it is really excellent, both for its sweetening power and for the flavor, similar to maple syrup but more delicate. Not knowing these cookies they would have been very good, while I was making them, thinking of making them more "palatable" for Elisa so that she could put them in her snack basket, I used some letters to make some writings and in fact the little girl liked them very much. So here is the recipe for my healthy and delicious cookies for this Friday, which will be appreciated especially for those on a diet or for my intolerant friends and as usual, if you try them, let me know if you liked them;)
How to make agave syrup biscuits
Put the flour in a bowl, make a hole in the center and add the baking soda, agave syrup, oil and spices. (For the possible replacement of the agave syrup, I refer you to this guide.)
Start kneading everything then add 1 or 2 tablespoons of cold water to thicken everything.
form a ball with the mixture, wrap in plastic wrap and let it rest in the fridge for 1 hour.
Then take the dough and roll it out on a floured surface creating a thickness of about 3 mm.
Now cut out the cookies with the mold of your choice, I used a 6 cm round dough cutter and I got 8.
Put the biscuits thus obtained on a baking tray covered with parchment paper.
If you want, you can shape your name on the cookies with steel letters, like I did.
Bake and bake the biscuits at 180 ° C in a preheated convection oven for 15 minutes.
Let cool before serving your biscuits with agave syrup.
