  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  1. Brew Bald Head Coffee Cold Brew Concentrate per instructions printed on the bag.

Set the pan over medium-high heat and cook, stirring frequently, until the honey has completely dissolved into the water. Let the mixture just come to a boil, then turn down the heat and let simmer gently for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Let the mixture cool completely then remove the cinnamon sticks (and discard).
  4. Store the syrup in the refrigerator until ready to use.
  1. Fill serving glass with ice cubes.
  2. Pour in the desired amount of cold brew coffee concentrate.
  3. Add in the desired amount of milk and honey cinnamon simple syrup, then mix to combine.
  4. Sprinkle the top with a touch of cinnamon. Serve immediately.

Toasted Coconut Cold Brew Coffee

  • 2 Bags of Bald Head Coffee Cold Brew Concentrate
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 9 cups of water
  1. Before you get started, toast your coconut and allow it to cool completely so you can crunch it up into smaller pieces. To toast it, put your coconut in a pan (you won’t need oil), and stir it over medium heat until the coconut is browned. Perfect! And it smells heavenly.
  2. Place 2 bags of Bald Head Coffee Cold Brew Concentrate into the 9 cups of water and add the toasted coconut shreds, giving it a good stir.
  3. The next step is super easy—just cover it with plastic wrap and let it sit at room temperature. The actual time you need to let it sit is variable— We allowed our batch to sit for 15 hours, and it turned out great.

These Cinnamon Scones Have:

  • Sweet crumbly edges
  • Crunchy golden brown exterior
  • Delicious brown sugar flavor
  • Soft, moist, cinnamon-spiced centers
  • Sweet cinnamon chips
  • Lots of coffee icing

Cinnamon Chips

I use Hershey’s brand cinnamon chips in these scones. Keep your eyes peeled and when you see them, stock up. They’re wonderful in scones, muffins, snickerdoodles, and even banana bread. I usually find them in Target, Walmart, and grocery stores during the fall and winter months.

If you can’t find them in stores, they’re sold on Amazon too.

Four Minute Breakfast: Coffee and Toast

It’s hard to believe December is here and holidays are right around the corner. It feels like we blinked and fall is over. Whether you’re sad to see those brisk fall mornings go or excited to have a full house over the holidays, don’t skip your coffee or breakfast during those hectic, busy mornings. If you’re a French press brewer, try making one of these easy four minute toast ideas – throw them together while your press is steeping, when your coffee is ready, so is breakfast! They can all be customized for allergies and picky eaters. We didn’t invent these recipes, we just pulled together our favorite quick bites to help you get fed, caffeinated, and out the door.

Put your water on, pop your bread in the toaster and get your French press ready. As soon as you’ve poured your coffee grounds and hot water, your toast will be ready to top! We like to put out options so kids can top their own, but usually keep it to simple choices so we aren’t left with a huge clean up. The recipes have a base of nut butter, avocado, or cream cheese – try picking a couple with the same base so that everyone can easily pick their own toppings.
